The Galaxy consits of many solar systems, each with a number of planets. As your units explore further you discover more of the Galaxy and encounter different races and technologies, some friendly others less so.

You communicate your orders to your people and their units over Galnet. When the orders are received they will be carried out if it is possible and they came from the correct chain of command. Many variations of responses are possible, sometimes their disposition and loyalty towards you may be affected.

Your empire consists of political, military, legal and financial power bases, each of which you must manipulate to remain in effective power.
